About Pockets…

Since a child I have been drawing the streets of Manchester where I grew up. As well as my own experiences, work from imagination, commissions, and my travel sketches from overseas trips, I document, through art, the times and ever-changing city that we live in, from the people to the architecture, landmarks, etc. I believe that art gives more relevance to things, so I try to depict what could usually be overlooked from my own perspective using a variety of different mediums. For 2026 I'm releasing my first book (views of Manchester #1), a series of zines based on the 100s of drawings over the years, as well as continuing the next phase of my journey, which is a canvas painted series for future exhibitions.
